SPAN is looking for a professional with a Quantity Surveyor to be based in our HQ Cyberjaya. Details are as follows:
 
 Position: 1) Executive, Regional Operation (QS Background)

Responsibilities

 -Project Monitoring: The officer will monitor ongoing Kumpulan Wang Sumbangan Modal Pembetungan (KWSMP) projects. This includes reviewing project progress and identifying any potential issues.

-Processing Payment Claims: The officer is responsible for reviewing and processing payment claims for KWSMP projects. This involves examining claim documents and providing approval for the claims.

-Project Evaluation: The officer will evaluate project proposals that utilize KWSMP funds.

-Site Visits: The officer is required to conduct site visits for payment claims of KWSMP projects. This involves inspecting project progress and verifying payment claims. 

-Project Progress Reports: The officer is required to provide project progress reports to the KWSMP Committee. This includes updating on the status of project reports, providing project updates, highlighting any issues faced, and making recommendations for necessary actions. 

-Committee Secretariat: As the secretariat, the officer will be involved in administrative tasks related to the KWSMP Committee and its projects. This will include preparing relevant documents, organizing meeting agendas, and recording meeting minutes.

-Correspondence: The officer is responsible to prepare letters and memos related to KWSMP projects.
 
Requirements

-Possess a recognized Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
-Have at least 3 to 8 years of working experience in the related industry.
-Good command of written and spoken English and Malay.
