1. MANAGER, OPERATIONS
Location | SUBANG JAYA
KEY ROLES
* Develop analytics, system and data management capabilities including metrics and reports
* Direct, coordinate, assign, monitor and review the work of each department within the group
* Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of Operations Department
* Develop and execute contract management and procurement frameworks, inventory control and demand planning and risk management with the supply chain
* Monitors and executes advances in supply chain technology and apply within the organization to improve supply chain processes.
* Direct regulatory compliance related to supply chain management
* Maintains business relationships with vendors and third party logistics.
* Provide strategic insight for overall logistics operations within the Malaysia and proposed operations overseas
* Assist in the development of the required logistics technology
* Lead the 24hr logistics functions across all operational sites
* Lead an in house call center / operations team
* Lead in the setup of new security warehouses
* Oversee the proactive operational planning of logistics resource
* Overall responsibility for fleet management for all logistics vehicles
* Grow relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
* Identify supplementary revenue streams to transform the cost center
* Ensure relevant and required SHE activities relating to the logistic operations are carried out

KEY ROLES
* To ensure that all shipping instructions/ booking details are keyed into the Vehicle Transit System (VTS) system and to update all booking data to vessel operator and port authority accurately within the stipulated period.
* To key in booking/ shipment details into Vehicle Transit System (VTS) to generate Shipping Mark (Print-out version).
>> To create shipment voyage & schedule (date & time) in the system.
>> To create details of the new customer / shipper / consignee / notify party details in the system.
* To communicate with all related parties in booking updates via VTS in order to avoid delays prior to loading / unloading activity at the port and collection arrangement.
* To prepare and to update booking list for vessel operator approval before vessel departure.
* To prepare and to complete the job files based on Shipping Instruction (SI) and Booking Confirmation (BC).
>> To ensure all shipping documents (i.e. BL, DO, K3, ISD) proper filing in the job file for billing/ invoicing process.
>> To ensure all PIC and Key Account Manager (KAM) to complete the job file with rates for billing / invoicing process and Sales report preparation.
* To prepare and update Sales report based on timeline given by finance PIC.
* To assist the other booking team members on the booking arrangement for customer further action.
>> To prepare Shipping Instruction and to advise Booking Confirmation to the customer accordingly.
