1. Senior Executive, Procurement
Job Responsibilities:-
1. Procurement Admin
- OPEX, CAPEX, Project Planning and Proposal for Division - Annual Master Plan (AMP) Budget and Mid Year Review (MYR) preparation.
- AMP & MYR budget challenge for OPEX, CAPEX & Project
- OPEX, CAPEX & Project tracking overall division spending and monitoring
- Liaise with Group Finance to manage discrepancies in spending.
- Ensure control or governance in OPEX, CAPEX, Project utilization and Asset acquisition.
- Lead and coordinate the Asset Management team of Procurement.
- Administer asset list, perform internal audit and execute asset disposal, transfer or etc.
- SAP System - create/raise Purchase Requisition (PR) / Material Requisition Form (MRF) / Good Received Note (GRN)
- Setting/update review and approval function of PR/PO creation in SAP.
- Support event management activities
- Liaise with Internal Control on the DOA related matters.
- Follow up on the CFT monthly reporting status to the Management.
- System and process improvement
- BPM process and approval, change order and maintenance.
2. Chassis
- Execute RFQ/ RFI procedure on tender opening and ensure closure within the timeline
- Achieve cost savings for cost reduction activity through negotiation with vendors, VAVE and resourcing activity that align with department KPI and division procedure
- Analyze and conduct the assessment at vendor(s) for cost-saving opportunity
- Participate in product development with cross-functional team and vendors
- Make assessments and consolidate data for supplier and price benchmarking
- Prepare and analyze submissions from vendors for vendor appointment approval for new model/resourcing initiative for cost reduction or supply assurance.
3. Contract Management
- Responsible to issue/process Contracts and approval to Management.
- Assist to process OPEX/Contract related to PR from users for consumables, general purchases and services.
- Ensure PO issued based on right suppliers and right cost, services/goods delivered to users within SLA to meet target.
- Ensure tender exercise and requisitions are processed in accordance with Group Procurement Policies and Procedures (GPPP).
4. Bidding
- Develop evaluation matrix for tendering process for purchases of goods & services related to Non-Component.
- Ensure compliance and integrity of the tendering process.
- Participating and responsible in the bidding process from organizing technical evaluation to final vendor appointment.
- Manage overall bid waiver purchases of goods & services related to Non-Components.
- Responsible for bid waiver process compliance.
- Build business relationships and effective partnering with internal and external stakeholders.
- Accountable to provide a final review of all bidding strategy and governance deliverables.
Job Requirements:-
- Bachelor's in Engineering or equivalent with at least 4 years of relevant working experience.
- Able to make analysis from commercial and technical submissions from vendors
- Experienced in cost reduction activity and with good negotiation skills.
- Advantage if experienced in supply chain management
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to interact with the internal and external related divisions to ensure deliverables are completed
- Positive attitudes, analytical and focus
- Computer skills such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Able to make analysis from commercial and technical submissions from vendors
