LEAN SIX SIGMA SME
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Lead complex six sigma projects and coordinate with leadership to identify and prioritize targeted areas of opportunity for eliminating waste and reducing variation.
· Facilitate value stream mapping, business process re-design, kaizen, continuous improvement, lean thinking, cycle time reduction, etc. to simplify and perfect targeted areas.
· Provide LSS training and leadership of kaizen events, across all levels of the organization.
· Maintain detailed records of all LSS projects.
· Motivate and direct cross-functional teams to desired results through skillful application of the LSS methodology.
· Mentor Green Belts, Black Belts and Sponsors in their application of Lean and Six Sigma tools, techniques, and principles.
· Managing/supervising LSS projects resulting in sustained performance.
· As a site subject matter expert, is responsible for monitoring on a regular basis performance related to lean six sigma metrics within the site.
Education and Experience Requirements
· Bachelor’s in IE, Ops Research or related field preferred
· Master’s degree (MBA, project management, etc.) will be an added advantage
· At least 15 years of working experience with 7 years of experience in Lean Six Sigma area or related field
· Preferably Master Black Belt certified by recognized organizations in industry (e.g. ASQ, SME, Shingo Prize)
· Preferably Lean master certified
· Project and facilitation experience in heavily matrixed environment
· Change Management experience
