Sapura Energy Berhad we are currently looking for potential candidates to fill in below position in September 2022. Work based is in Ghana. Any Nationality is welcomed.
1. PROJECT MANAGER
Experience:
+ Minimum of 10 years offshore construction industry experience in a relevant environment
+ Work experience in an offshore/remote location
Skill / Attributes / Competencies:
+ University degree in a relevant engineering discipline
+ Minimum of 5 years’ experience in offshore industry operations
+ Knowledge and/or experience of offshore construction and hydrodynamics
+ Knowledge and/or experience in project management
+ Able to communicate effectively and articulately at all levels.
+ Pleasant disposition with the capability to be authoritative when necessary
+ Clear and effective oral and written communications skills in English language.
+ Thorough knowledge and understanding of principle discipline and peripheral subjects.
+ Strong coordination, organization and liaison skills with the ability to seek and gain consensus solutions to complex issues.
Main Responsibilities:
+ Ensure compliance with all HSES requirements.
+ To be responsible for the safe, efficient and economical execution of the project.
+ Review the contract documents and the Project Hand-over Report from Tendering Department.
+ Identify pending matters, to obtain clarification of any unclear information and highlight contractual items requiring special follow-up or involving exceptional risks.
+ Serve as the primary liaison with the Client (or overall Company Project Manager) and the subcontractors during the performance of the project, including change order negotiations.
+ Monitor progress and react as necessary to ensure that completion dates are met.
+ Liaise with the Engineering Dept to ensure that the engineering planning and budget are met.
+ Conduct periodic progress meetings with the client representative(s) and the relevant Company personnel.
+ Organize the procurement, sub-contracting and logistics of equipment and services defined together with the installation engineer.
+ If the project is subcontracted, prepare an invitation to tender package, issue it to sub-contractors listed together with the Project Engineer, review the tenders received both commercially and contractually with the help of the Legal Dept, recommend a preferred sub-contractor to his hierarchy.
+ Liaise with Client & sub-contractor throughout the project including change order negotiation, ensure efficient and accurate administration of the contract with the project administrator, prepare budget variances as required, the monthly forecast.
